Manchester City’s striker Erling Haaland is proving once again why he is one of football’s most feared goal scorers. The Norwegian superstar has now scored in 10 consecutive matches for both club and country, his longest scoring streak since turning professional.

According to Manchester City’s official website, Haaland’s goal run began in late August 2025 and has continued through October, covering games in the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and international fixtures for Norway.

During this remarkable streak, Haaland has scored 19 goals in 10 games, averaging nearly two goals per match. His streak includes:

Premier League: Goals against Brighton, Manchester United, Arsenal, Burnley, and Brentford. Champions League: Goals versus Napoli and Monaco. International matches: A hat-trick against Israel and goals against Finland and Moldova

Since August 31, Haaland has scored in every game he has played, proving that defenders across Europe still struggle to contain him.

This is Haaland’s longest scoring streak in his professional career. Before this, his personal best was eight consecutive matches for Borussia Dortmund in 2021.

Now, with 10 straight games on the scoresheet, Haaland equals Lionel Messi’s longest career streak and sits just one game behind Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of scoring in 11 consecutive matches, set in 2014.

After scoring a hat-trick in Norway’s 3–0 win over Israel on October 11, Haaland told reporters:

“I’ve never felt better. I just try to enjoy my football and help my teams win. The goals come when I play with confidence.”

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola praised the striker’s focus and mentality after their recent win at Brentford:

“Erling is special. He’s always hungry to score, and that’s what separates great strikers from the rest.”

Haaland’s form has been vital for Manchester City, who are pushing for another Premier League title, while his performances for Norway have kept their qualification hopes alive for the next major tournament.

His goals continue to show that he is not just a club phenomenon but also a key figure in his national team’s progress.

Haaland’s next match will be against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. If he scores again, he will equal Ronaldo’s record of 11 consecutive scoring games, and move closer to writing another historic chapter in his young career.

For now, his 10 games streak stands as proof that Erling Haaland remains football’s ultimate goal machine.
