Rayon Sports shows Lotfi Exit Door

Rayon Sports Football Club has officially announced that they have relieved head coach Lotfi Nasraoui and his assistant of their duties with immediate effect.


According to a statement from the club, the decision was made following recent performances and internal evaluations. The management stated that both coaches have been suspended from their roles “for now,” as the team looks for the best way forward.


In addition to the coaching changes, Rayon Sports also confirmed that they have parted ways with defender Aimable Nsabimana through mutual agreement.


Rayon Sports fans have been calling for changes after a series of inconsistent results in recent games. The club is expected to appoint a new technical team soon to guide the team through the next phase of the season.


Coach Afhamia Lotfi joined Rayon Sports on 30 May 2025 when he was officially appointed as their head coach from Mukura Vicitory Sports.


Further updates from the club are expected in the coming days as the management works on reshaping the team’s technical structure.

  By Roger Uwineza Students at Mount Kigali University gathered in large numbers today as officials carried out the process of taking photographs for the new E‑Indangamuntu, an important step in Rwanda’s transition to digital identification.   The activity took place on campus during the day, where students lined up patiently to have their photographs taken for the electronic national identity card commonly known as the E-Indangamuntu.
